253 Queen Street East Condos is a New Condo development by U Developments located at Queen St E & Rutherford Rd S, Brampton.

This massive project will consist of two separate buildings arranged across a 15,859-square-metre L-shaped site. The structure closest to Queen Street East will contain two towers measuring 32 and 46-storeys, respectively, and be connected by a shared podium space; the third tower will rise 30 storeys and be located at the rear of the site in the “foot” of the L. All towers are designed with multiple setbacks that will create spacious outdoor terraces.
With a street front that measures over 61 metres, the tower closest to Queen will reserve ground floor space for retail purposes to help the street gain a strong urban edge; as well, this tower will be used for office use on floors 1 through 9. The other two towers will serve as condo residences with some ground floor units to serve as townhomes or live/work spaces.
Overall, all three structures will have an overall floor area of 92,242 square metres including 10,014 square metres of office and retail space.
The development is planned to contain 998 residential living units that will be served by 1,272 vehicle parking spaces and 850 bicycle parking spaces.
Showing a clarity of forethought, much of this building’s design has been geared to accommodate future development of the community still to come. Ostensibly serving as an outdoor amenity, the “pocket park” located between the two structures will also serve as an access point for a future east-west path, thereby fulfilling this area’s role as a pedestrian-friendly area.
