Grand Festival Condos is a new condo development by Menkes Developments Ltd. and QuadReal, currently in preconstruction at 1 Commerce Street, Vaughan.
Grand Festival Condos will be phase two in the Festival Condos development located in the South VMC. The master-planned development in VMC spans over 75 acres, with new developments planned every year to improve residential and commercial density. With the arrival of phase two, we are excited to announce it’s world-class indoor and outdoor amenities.
Two iconic towers have been added to the development, consisting of a 46-storey tower containing 592 units, and a 40-storey tower containing 514 units.
The condos will feature layouts available in 1-bedroom, 1-bedroom + den and 2 Bedroom units. The interiors should feature modern and luxurious features and finishes similar to the first phase condos.
Each tower will sit on a 4-6 floor podium that houses retail and amenity space that will be joined together by a beautifully poised bridge. The top of the bridge will be an outdoor terrace and lounge area available for the residents to enjoy. The podiums will house exceptional amenities including a fully equipped commercial grade gym, top-tier water spa, and a 25 000 square-foot supermarket.
The outdoor amenities proposed for this phase are unparalleled as they will include a Farmer’s Market Hub, a soccer field, retail promenade and an ice-rink for the winter season. The development also includes a large shared green space stretching over 74,000 square-feet used as a common area for the residents and visitors of the condos.
An underground garage is proposed for the site, with approximately 1900 parking spaces for residents, and retail visitors. It is expected to feature four separate vehicle entrances for the several condos to access.
