St. Clair Place Condos is a new multi-tower condominium residence by Wittington Properties Limited and Capital Developments in Toronto. This pre-construction condo project is located at 1485 Yonge St at the intersection of St. Clair Avenue East in the neighbourhood of Deer Park.
This aspiring condo development will be comprised of three separate towers measuring 34, 39, and 59 storeys high. With its tallest tower to reach a height of 196.9 metres, this new condominium complex is set to become the tallest building in the city located north of the downtown core, offering its residents unmatched, breathtaking views of the skyline.
These lofty heights will bring an enormous increase in density to the area, consisting of a total 1,357 residential units spread out over a whopping ground floor area of 111,560 square metres. Across its three separate towers, this planned development will consist of

each measuring an average size of 62, 84, and 160 square metres, respectively. As well, this Diamond Schmitt Architects-designed project will contain 30 rental units that will replace existing units.
Situated equidistantly on the 13,683 square metre site, the towers will employ well-considered spacing and positioning in order to deliver unobstructed views of the ravine to the north and west, Deer Park and Forest Hill to the east, and the city centre to the south. As well, with the highest towers placed to the southern and western end that taper downwards to the Yorkminster Park Baptist Church to the north, this project establishes an appropriate balance of density, skyview, light access, and shadow impact.
A central courtyard equipped with a winter garden will be positioned in the middle of the towers, allowing access to its secluded retail space via regularly-spaced entrances from Yonge and Alvin. This interior public space will be preceded by an entry park at its northwest corner and be aligned towards the south-facing window of the opposite-facing church, thereby freeing up the space.
